Thoughtful psychological therapy for adults and couples in North Perth.
At Elysian House Psychology, therapy offers a space to slow down and make sense of what has been difficult to carry alone. Founded by Registered Psychologist Tenille Zekas, Elysian House provides attachment-informed therapy for people seeking greater understanding, emotional wellbeing, and more sustainable ways of living and relating.
Grounded in attachment theory, relational psychology, and contemporary understandings of the nervous system, Tenille offers a reflective and collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences with curiosity and compassion, deepen their understanding of longstanding patterns, strengthen their relationships, and move towards a life that feels more authentic, connected, and aligned.
Therapy with Tenille is insight-oriented while remaining grounded in the realities of everyday life. Together, you will explore not only present challenges, but also the emotional and relational patterns that may be influencing how you experience yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. The intention is always to support meaningful and lasting change.
Contemporary understandings of emotional wellbeing increasingly acknowledge the important role of the nervous system in shaping how we experience ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. Where appropriate, therapy may incorporate mindfulness, Mindful Self-Compassion, and gentle attention to bodily experiences to support emotional regulation, deepen self-understanding, and cultivate a kinder relationship with oneself.

Tenille is known for her warm, deeply attuned, and grounded therapeutic style — creating a space where clients feel genuinely understood without judgement or pathologising.
Her work integrates attachment theory, nervous system awareness, relational psychology, and evidence-based practice to help clients develop greater self-understanding, emotional clarity, relational security, and more sustainable ways of living and relating.
We won’t rush past what’s happening now, nor will we lose ourselves entirely in the past. We’ll seek to understand your experiences in context, honour the ways you’ve adapted, and support you to move towards a life that feels more connected, sustainable, and aligned.
Drawing on over two decades of clinical experience across public, private, and community mental health settings, Tenille brings both clinical rigour and genuine human warmth to every therapeutic relationship.
For adults seeking therapy — particularly those navigating neurodivergence, high sensitivity, emotional overwhelm, burnout, relational difficulties, and significant life transitions.
For couples seeking to understand and shift the patterns that have left them feeling disconnected, stuck in conflict, or unable to bridge the distance between them. Drawing on EFT and the Gottman Method.
Clinician-facilitated group programmes for adults and parents navigating neurodivergence, high sensitivity, and the complexities of modern life — beginning with the ADHD Parent Circle.
At Elysian House Psychology, therapy is an invitation to move beyond merely coping towards a life that feels more connected, intentional, and aligned.
Many people who find themselves drawn to working with Tenille are thoughtful and self-aware. They may have spent years trying to understand themselves, yet still find certain struggles recurring. Therapy offers a space to make sense of these experiences with curiosity and compassion, deepen self-understanding, and discover that meaningful change is possible.

Psychological therapy is a talk-based intervention for mental health issues and concerns. Initially there will be an assessment phase (1–3 sessions) where we identify what will be addressed in therapy and determine if there is good capacity to work together. Regular appointment times are then set to support commitment to the therapeutic process.
Sessions generally last 50–55 minutes. Tenille offers both face-to-face and Telehealth options for individual therapy. Telehealth can be via phone call or videoconference.
Please note: Tenille’s areas of expertise do not include domestic violence, acute suicidality, eating disorders, or substance use and abuse.
Face-to-face & Telehealth.
From 1 July 2026: $245 per session.
Face-to-face only (unless otherwise agreed).
With a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, you can claim a rebate of $98.95 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year (face-to-face and Telehealth). From 1 July 2026 this increases to $101.55 per session.
Cancellations within 48 hours incur a $120 fee (individual) or $135 (couples). Within 24 hours, the full session fee applies. Payment is by credit card or EFT on the day.
The number and frequency of sessions will be discussed based on your treatment needs and goals. In many circumstances it can be difficult to predict a person’s response to treatment, and your practitioner will discuss this with you before commencing.
